I developed an experimental driver that simulates both PT2272 decoder and PT2262 encoder chips. The driver is fully interrupt driven and can be integrated in PIC applications as encoder, decoder or both. Those two chips are commonly found in many inexpensive garage door openers and work with fixed codes.
